Royal Mail’s standard services offer reliable delivery options for non-valuable items. The prices for these services are exempt from VAT. Here are the prices for the 1st and 2nd class services:
- Letter (Weight up to 100g): £1.10 for 1st Class and £0.75 for 2nd Class.
- Large Letter (Weight up to 100g): £1.60 for 1st Class and £1.15 for 2nd Class.
- Small Parcel (Weight up to 2kg): £4.19 for 1st Class and £3.49 for 2nd Class.
- Medium Parcel (Weight up to 2kg): £6.29 for 1st Class and £5.49 for 2nd Class.
UK Signed Services
The UK Signed services offer proof of delivery and up to £50 compensation when you need extra peace of mind. The prices for these services are also exempt from VAT. Here are the prices for the 1st and 2nd class services:
- Letter (Weight up to 100g): £2.60 for 1st Class and £2.25 for 2nd Class.
- Large Letter (Weight up to 100g): £3.10 for 1st Class and £2.65 for 2nd Class.
- Small Parcel (Weight up to 2kg): £5.39 for 1st Class and £4.69 for 2nd Class.
- Medium Parcel (Weight up to 2kg): £7.49 for 1st Class and £6.69 for 2nd Class.
UK Guaranteed Services
The Guaranteed timed services are ideal for valuable or important items that have to be there tomorrow. The prices for these services vary depending on the level of compensation for loss or damage:
- Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm: Prices range from £6.85 (100g weight limit) to £19.45 (20kg weight limit), depending on the level of compensation.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am: Prices range from £23.95 (100g weight limit) to £35.95 (2kg weight limit), depending on the level of compensation.
International Standard Services
Royal Mail also offers International Standard services for letters and large letters. The prices for these services are as follows:
- Letters (All Zones, Weight up to 100g): £2.20
- Large Letters (Europe Zones 1/2/3, Weight up to 100g): £3.25
- Large Letters (World Zone 1, Weight up to 100g): £4.20
- Large Letters (World Zone 2, Weight up to 100g): £4.20
- Large Letters (World Zone 3, Weight up to 100g): £4.20
