When to Renew Your Senior Railcard

  • Renewal Window: You can initiate the renewal process when your Senior Railcard is within 30 days of its expiry date.
  • Updating Details: If there’s a need to modify any of your information, you can do so by clicking the edit button on the review page.
  • Reminders: If you’ve provided your email address, you’ll receive a reminder when your Railcard is nearing its expiry. However, always ensure your Railcard is valid before purchasing or using Railcard-discounted tickets.
  • Offline Purchased Railcards: Even if you bought your Railcard offline, you can renew it online. Create an account and buy a new Railcard using your UK driving licence, passport, or EEA National Identity Card. Ensure your station-purchased Railcard has expired to maximize its validity.
